There’s a tribute to Boston singer Brad Delp this Sunday (in Boston, natch). Initially it was announced Extreme would play it, putting it on my radar, but when the show went on sale they weren’t on the bill. Then it was announced singer Gary Cherone would be there, and this week not only is it official the band is playing, but they’re debuting a new song there, hopefully the first of many (guitarist Nuno Bettencourt recently resigned from Perry Farrell’s Satellite Party).
Anyway, now I wish I’d made plans to go – it’s a little late now. Yes, I just looked at airplane tix – why are you shaking your head?
