I don’t normally talk about good grocery deals, but we bought a box of ribs yesterday at Safeway. I thought a couple of racks of ribs for $10 was a good deal, but wasn’t prepared to find 5 racks of ribs in there today. And they were mighty tasty, ‘specially with Mom’s secret BBQ sauce. I think the sale’s on ’til Tuesday, if you’re local and interested.
Only thing that could top it was apple pie a la mode (wouldn’t normally have it, except the pie filling and ice cream were both low carb). Although Jill disagreed and had strawberries and angel food cake (I’m not a fan of angel food cake). Now I finished packing up my eBay auctions while watching Sky Captain And The World Of Tomorrow (with a movie like that, it’s a fine line between campy and serious, and they never got it quite right) – finished watching Hitch while cooking (it was very meet cute, but I thought it was well done, I’d watch it again).
