More info on our upcoming addition:
We have TWO dog parks nearby (Baron Cameron and Chandon). Neither’s walking distance, but should be about less than 10 minutes by car. I’m waiting on an email from Lezlie with info, but I don’t think we’ll need much more than a collar, a couple leashes, and water and food bowls (they supply a crate). I’m trying to decide if we should take Illa to Petsmart, or go before he comes and skip the sensory overload while we’re still new to him. Food they want to use some fancy kind I forget the name of (probably one a vet sells, and we’ll need to find a local vet anyway).
