I was a Star Wars kid, but one of things I watched that always stuck with me was V. They’ve released both miniseries on DVD, but this week they finally released the 19 episode TV series they made. Very important, because I missed the last episode, and never wanted to buy the videotapes at $20 each. I was kinda obsessed, though – I still have the comics, books, trading cards, and Visitor action figure (with removable human face).
